Ulrich Weitz began shaping IBU-tec to its present form in 2000 and successfully took the company public. As CEO, he was responsible for the entire IBU-tec Group until 2023. Today, he heads the subsidiary IBUvolt battery materials GmbH, where he drives the expansion of the battery materials business. Having studied mechanical engineering, Mr. Weitz held several management positions in international companies. The Weitz familiy is the main shareholder of the IBU-tec Group.
