Before being appointed Chief Commercial Officer for Volkswagen Group Charging in 2021, Simon Loeffler held various VP & C-level positions, from start-up to corporate level in sales, marketing and product management. He is an expert in the energy sector and software & hardware technology, also having a proven track record in the EV industry. With his open mind and entrepreneurial attitude, he has build new and grown existing businesses in Europe and the United States. In his last position he served as the CEO of innogy eMobility US, managing their brands BTCPower and Plugshare.com.

Simon holds an International Business & Cultural Studies degree from the University of Passau and lives with his wife and two sons in Bonn, Germany.
