Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components, RWTH Aachen University

The PEM Chair of RWTH Aachen University is dedicated to all aspects of electrified mobility in research, consulting, and teaching: from the manufacture and recycling of battery systems to the production of fuel cells and electric powertrains through to entire vehicle concepts.

The PEM team is active in numerous national and international research projects and is collaborating with renowned industrial partners. The focus is always on sustainability and cost reduction – with the aim of a seamless “Innovation Chain” from basic research to large-scale production in the immediate vicinity.
