Dr. Benjamin Brehmer has been heading the processing additives commerialization and new business development for a range of applications in the new energy sectors within the Business Line Interface & Performance since early 2021. Battery has since become a primary focal point and since July 2024, he is heading the business of the newly formed venturing segment of LIB. A process engineer by training, he has been with the company since 2008 holding a variety of innovation and commercial roles. After being located in both China and Korea to build the business in the battery sphere and understand its rapid dynamics, he is now again based in Essen, Germany.
